General Summary: The Client Service Representative supports the daily operations of the hedge desk by executing a variety of tasks, including placing futures and options orders, data entry, and market monitoring. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Tasks:
Place and receive futures and options orders
Enter data using QST Order Entry software
Monitor market activity and provide quotes when requested
Review and reconcile customer statements from previous transactions
Review and monitor daily preliminary reports
Input completed trades into HA system
Validate and monitor all trades in HA
Scope of Responsibility:
Execute tasks as delegated within the job description
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data and order processing
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Proficient in data entry with high accuracy
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Professional and friendly phone presence
Eagerness to learn and adapt
Licensing/Certification:
None required
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work more than 40 hours per week if needed
